         On December 4, 2012, the United States Court of International Trade approved certain amendments to USCIT Rules 3, 5, 56, 56.2, 65, 73.2, 75 and 81; USCIT Forms 5, 11, 14 (new) and 18A (new); USCIT Specific Instructions for Forms 11, 14 (new) and 18A (new); Administrative Order 02-01; Appendix on Access to Business Proprietary Information Pursuant to Rule 73.2(c); and Standard Chambers Procedures, including new Forms SCP 1, SCP 2, SCP 3 and SCP 4, that will become effective on January 1, 2013. 
  
            A draft of the amendments to the Rules was posted on the Court’s website for comment on October 3, 2012. The Court has considered comments received on the proposed rules amendments.

            Language deleted from each rule appears with strike-overs. When viewed on the USCIT Website, the proposed new language will appear in red. If the proposed amendments are downloaded to a non-color printer, the proposed new language will appear in bold.

            Notice of the amendments was transmitted to various sources for publication. If you have obtained a hard copy of the Rules from a commercial publisher, you may wish to contact that publisher to determine when it will make the amendments available.
